AUSTRALIS STAYPUT FOUNDATION REVIEW

$

0
This has been around since I first ever saw an Australis stand around 6 years ago. It's taken 6 years for me to try it out. I'll admit, the relatively recent revamp of Australis has really changed my perception of the brand. It is one of, if not my favourite Australian brand. (Chi Chi wins on eyeshadows which are my favourite makeup product)

This foundation claims to give a luminous natural finish that lasts all day and it has SPF 15 for that all important sun protection. It comes in a really nice frosted glass bottle with a pump and clear lid, better quality that L'oreal or Cover Girl pump bottles.

Top is normal, bottom is with flash. L-R: Lumi Magique in N4 (neutral), Australis Stayput in Natural Tan (weird peachy orange), Covergirl Outlast in Golden Tan and MAC Face and Body in C4 (yellow/olive)
I have this in the shade Natural Tan which is the 4th of 5 shades. It was hard to find a shade that suited. The tone of Australis foundations is weird. They're not really warm or cool, but this weird peach tone which just looked off on everyone which is why people say their foundations are all 'orange'. Golden Tan looked like it would be a good match for olive skin tones as it had a nice yellow/green base when I swatched it but it was too dark (NC40) and I wanted a foundation for when my skin coming out of winter.

It looks 'off' on my skin and does seem to oxidise slightly and get darker.

This foundation applies and blends into the skin smoothly and easily. It does give good medium to almost full  coverage with a gorgeous matte but luminous finish. I really dig the finish this gives.

Smilin' like an idiot :D Myself wearing the foundation.
It's not the most longwearing foundation I've tried but I can confidently wear it for around 8 hours in comfortable conditions without having to worry.

You get a little less product that usual, not sure why there's only 23ml but there are frequent sales with Australis and you can get it at the moment for just $10. Bahhhhgin.

If you're lucky enough to find a shade that suits you, I would suggest getting it. It's a great foundation for the price and I think this would be fine for most skin type, oily or dry.

I've done another demo video for this if you would like to see it being applied.

MEHRON PRO HD FOUNDATION AND CHEEK CREAMS

I love love love cream foundations. A good cream foundation is quick and easy to work with. It would have good coverage but can be sheered down depending on how you apply it. It also blends seamlessly into the skin and is great for all skin types, oily or dry. There are some bad ones out there (A review is coming up for one very soon!) but most that I've tried, I've been bonkers for. Revlon New Complexion One Step and Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse are examples of some great cream foundations I've loved and used up.

*EDIT* Cream to powder foundations aren't the same since. They dry to a matte finish and the makeup tends to have a very thick, dry, pasty texture. Good cream foundations feel, for lack of a better word, 'greasy' when you swipe your finger across it.

Today I'm writing about another amazing cream foundation. For those who haven't heard of Mehron *cough* Tram *cough* Amanda :P, Mehron is a professional makeup brand whose products are geared towards film and theatre - camera ready makeup.

L-R: Mehron HD in Eurasia Fair, Maybelline Fit Me in 220, Covergirl Outlast in Golden Tan. All beautiful yellow/olive foundations.
I don't even know where to start I have so many good things to say about it, I need to calm down...I'm going to do this as a list.

5 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MEHRON CELEBRE PRO HD

1. Comes in 20 shades! 4 in each catergory (light, medium, medium dark, dark and eurasia) Most of the shades are more yellow or neutral because pink toned foundations 'blow up' on HD cameras. Hence why all HD makeup is, or should at least be, yellow toned.

2. Amazing value for money. This comes in a no-nonsense jar with a clear lid, ideal for a professional kit. For around $10AU, you get 25g of product in this tiny tub and trust me, that will last years. Most other cream foundations only come with 7-9g.

3. Great coverage. I never usually skip concealer for my stupidly dark undereye circles but I don't need any concealer at all when I wear this. It's so versatile, applying it with a damp sponge will give a flawless dewy finish and make it look more natural, letting your skin show through a bit. The best way to apply is with with an Alcone Sponge. Alcone sponges are super cheap but high quality, dense, non-latex sponges. They don't smell funny either.

4. Longwearing. This foundation lasts all day on me and still looks flawless at the end of the day.

5. Perfect on HD cameras and photographs beautifully as well. If you want to see how it looks on HD film, I would suggest checking out my demo video :)

I picked up 2 Cheek Creams at IMATS this year which I showed in my haul post. I never had luck with cream blushes before. I found them hard to apply, they never looked even or blended and powder blushes were just so much easier. That was until I found these.

I bought these in the shades Bronze and Pink Coral. Bronze looks more of a cross between burnt orange and rose. Pink Coral is a super fun pink shade. Wooo, fun!!

Bronze and Pink Coral
Again, the best way I've found to apply these is with an Alcone Sponge sponge. A little goes a very very long way. You only need to touch the sponge into the cream and probably best to do a test dab on the back of your hand first. I just gently swipe and stipple it across my cheeks for flawless blending.

Packaging again is nothing special, but the quality of the product inside, is just phenomenal. These come with 4g which I don't think I'll ever finish, I think I would struggle to finish just 1g, it is that concentrated. I paid $8 each for these at IMATS.

Wearing the Mehron Celebre Pro HD Foundation and Cheek Creams
Cheek Creams make me feel cheeky :P
I got my Mehron foundation and Alcone sponges from http://camerareadycosmetics.com/ a while ago, it's only $9.46 at the moment so get it now! Mehron has a lot of other cool stuff like an anti-shine touch up thing that Amanda bought at IMATS. Girl, review that shiz!

AUSTRALIS VELOURLIPS MATTE LIP CREAMS

WEEEEEE I AM WAY TOO EXCITED ABOUT REVIEWING THIS!!!

Australis has some awesome new lip products out this month, the Velourlips (love the name) Matte Lip Creams. These are like liquid lipsticks that leave a soft matte finish and the colours really pack a punch.

These come in 5 shades, TOK-I-O (purple), RIO-D (coral) , PA-REE (nude), NY-CEE (red) and MAL-I-BOO (neon pink). The spelling of the shade names irritate me, annoying to type up. Would have preferred if they had spelled them normally but that doesn't really matter.

I have these in TOK-I-O, NY-CEE and MAL-I-BOO.

The colour payoff for these shades varies. NY-CEE has the best payoff, complete full coverage in a swipe. TOK-I-O can take 2 coats to get the colour you see in the tube. MAL-I-BOO is a bit trickier to build up to get that same intensity. They are by no means sheer though, still full on colour.

Keep in mind for these swatches, constantly applying a dry longwearing lip colour and wiping it off again, takes a toll on already dry lips so the swatches look grose and uneven in some of them. Sorry!

NY-CEE
TOK-I-O

MA-LI-BOO

Since these dry matte, they can feel a little drying. I've found the best way to wear these is with the thinnest layer possible. As long as you only wear one very thin coat, they will feel slightly dry, even velour-like but still comfortable.

If you layer 2 or 3 coats, it will feel thick, sticky and might 'crack' as your lips move.

They barely ever transfer, so you can safely sip a champagne glass or chug through a funnel without getting that embarrassing lip colour on it.

Not the best product for dry chapped lips as you would expect. You could wear a layer of lip balm underneath and you can even wear it over the top for extra comfort.

While most of the shades may seem 'unwearably bright', you can mix them to get some truly stunning shades.

NY-CEE + TOK-I-O

NY-CEE + MA-LI-BOO

MA-LI-BOO + TOK-I-O

TOK-I-O + NY-CEE + MA-LI-BOO
I really love these lip creams and will definitely pick up the other shades when they come out on 18th October. RRP $9.95

Some of you may have seen I posted a photo of this stuff on Instagram a few days ago. My boyfriend had been in England and finally got back on Saturday. I was so excited! I surprised him at his house and we exchanged gifts, just some things we had bought for each other while he was away. He obviously got me some nicer things, one of my gifts to him was a pair of innersoles...he likes that stuff okay!

First is this gorgeous Swarovski crystal necklace that reflects and refracts different colours depending on the light and background.
I couldn't get a photo of it looking this blue on my phone when I did that post showing all the different colours.

Makeup!! I asked for this stuff, the mascaras came free with purchase.

Sleek Face Forming Palette in Light (probably should have got medium)

New Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks in Dark Knight Waterl-oops! and Glam Plum Fulham. They look brighter here than in real life. I'll do swatches soon :)

CLEVERWHITE DISSOLVING WHITENING STRIPS

Hi,

Just a quick review for an awesome new product you may have seen. It's all over the catalogues and backs of bathroom stall doors (that's where I first saw it).

The Cleverwhite Dissolving Whitening Strips are a quick and easy teeth whitening solution for busy and lazy girls (like myself). The strips remind me a lot of those Listerine Pocket-Pak thingos we used to have. They are around 6cm long, enough to cover my front 8 teeth.

The easiest way to use them:

  1. Lick your teeth first (mmm yum) to make sure there is enough saliva for the strip to stick on to.
  2. Start with your bottom teeth and line up the bottom on the strip with the bottom of your teeth where the gums start.
  3. Smooth the strip over your teeth and them fold it back over to cover the inside face of your teeth.
  4. Repeat for the top row
  5. Put on your favourite episode of Antiques Roadshow and relax.
The strips start dissolving instantly and you have 2 options. You can keep 'swallowing' as usual and they will gradually 'disappear' or you can sort of hold them in your mouth and then spit them out at the end of the 10 minutes. Whatever you do, just don't eat the strip. I say that because they have that ass-covering disclaimer written on the box.

You can use this either once or twice a day for more rapid results. There are 42 strips in the box so that's 21 treatments or 10.5 days if you're using them twice a day.

As for results? I did take before and after photos but it doesn't seem to look that different in the photos? Although in person, I can see a visible difference, the same results I get when I use Colgate Max White One. I started off using them just once a day because I was worried about sensitivity but since these didn't make my teeth more sensitive, I increased the treatments to twice a day.

I highly recommend these whitening strips if you want a brighter smile but just don't have the time or are plain lazy. Each strip comes individually wrapped in a little foil sachet so you can easily keep some in your bag or wallet for a quick whitening treatment while you shower or on your walk to the bus stop.

ESSENZZA NATURAL JAPANESE SILK FACIAL TREATMENT MASKS

$

Hello :)

Sheet masks are one of the more 'fun' pampering treatments in my opinion. They feel so nice and cool on the skin and it's just fun to laugh at how silly you look :P

The Essenzza Fuss Free Facials are a new product on the market and they come in 3 variants.

  1. No Dirt On Me - With citrus and pineapple enzymes to cleanse and exfoliate
  2. One Smooth Customer - With carrot seed and coconut oil to hydrate and soften the skin
  3. Age to Perfection - With Moroccan Argan Oil and Vitamin C which have anti ageing properties and act as antioxidants to protect the skin from premature ageing.

You use them like you would any other sheet mask. For those who haven't tried them yet:

  1. Rip open the packet and pull out the mask (too easy)
  2. There are 2 layers to peel off. First peel off the white plastic layer and them position the mask on your face. The actual mask sheet is very stretchy so don't worry too much if it doesn't line up perfectly with your features.
  3. Once you've got it roughly in position, peel off the blue layer.
  4. Pull the mask to adjust it into place.
  5. Sit back and relax, leave it on for at least 10 minutes :)
  6. After you remove the mask, you can leave the product to soak into your skin or you can rinse it off if you prefer.
I really love the One Smooth Customer one. My skin feels so soft and nourished afterwards, yay!! I was worried the No Dirt On Me mask would be drying or irritating but it still felt nice and gentle on my skin. I honestly didn't notice any 'exfoliation' going on while I used it though. Age to Perfection was also a pleasure to use but if I were repurchase any of these, it would be One Smooth Customer :)

These come in packs of 3 for $14.95 and I've seen them available at Priceline.

These were provided for me to review. Not getting paid and opinions are honest and my own :)

VERSATILE BLOGGER AWARD

Kat (Katshepsutt) from Kat's Colourings just nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award. Wooo thanks Kats! For anyone who doesn't know who she is, she is one of the loveliest ladies I've come across on Beautyheaven. I'm constantly competing with her on the EOTD forum but I just can't beat her, she posts these crazy colourful looks everyday and I love how she has the cajones to energy to do this everyday. She's truly beautiful and an inspiration <3

So for the Versatile blogger award, I am to share 7 facts about myself. I guess I'll treat this like I'm speed dating or something :P.
  1. Stealing this from Kats, I'm left handed too!! I do everything with my left hand (including guitar...jokes I don't play guitar anymore, I just sold it) except scissors.
  2. I've been drinking Ovaltine nearly every morning ever since I was 4. They're product line at Woolies keeps getting smaller and it is truly making me nervous :(
  3. My last meal would be: beef lasagna, beef tacos, a bacon & egg mcmuffin, 2 hashbrowns, baked potatoes with spicy chorizo and garlic aioli, cheesy garlic bread, crispy bacon strips and a fruit salad with peach tea as the drink...
  4. I'm almost always 10-15 minutes early wherever I go. I usually turn up an hour early to work just because I hate worrying that I'll be late to work. Traffic can be extremely congested sometimes.
  5. I can't relate to those questions where you need to choose between Brad Pitt or Ryan Gosling or Johnny Depp. I just don't find any male actors that attractive. My favourite actors would be buys like Steve Carell, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell.
  6. I'm watching Snog Marry Avoid as I write this post. Do people like this really exist?
  7. I get trapped on 9gag. If don't go on for a few days, I have to scroll through all the posts until I catch up to something I've already seen.
That's my thrilling life in 7 facts. Hope you enjoyed :)

I'M A BAD BAD BLOGGER

Hello,

Just incase you've forgotten who I am, I'm Sandy and I used to do nice informative (I hope) blog posts about makeup.

Then life gaffa taped me to a wall and filled a tennis ball machine with lemons to shoot them at me.

Sort of beauty related, I finished my degree designing a super awesome "fully sick hectik" professional makeup mirror but I can't say too much about it because it could be going into production *fingers crossed*.

Now I'm free and very very confused about what I'm supposed to do with my life.

There are so many things I want to review, I don't even know where to start...hopefully I can get onto that soon. If you want to see what I've been up to, check my instagrizzle!

Any requests for what I should blog about? If not, I'm just going to carry on with my usual reviewing and hope you guys find it helpful :)

RANT: DON'T STEAL ANOTHER BLOGGERS PICTURES - USE YOUR OWN PICTURES

$

0

I wrote this myself with my bare hands.
I put a lot of work into the photos I take for my blog (it's a lot of work because I'm not a photographer and haven't a clue what I'm doing) and it's annoying to see them popping up on other peoples blogs and even other YouTubers thumbnails.

I know sometimes I've had to pull pictures off Google from time to time but they're stock images that are essentially free for the public to use. I feel like you shouldn't go taking pictures from other bloggers who work hard to get these nice images for you. If you need to, ask them permission first or at least reference the source that you got it from.

The other day I saw that an Aussie YouTuber has taken one of the photos from my Velourlips post and used it in his video thumbnail. If you have the products yourself, why wouldn't you just take your own photo? That's just lazy. Now both our Velourlips videos are using the same photo for the thumbnail. (Yes I am totally aware that his channel is much larger than mine and compared to him, barely anyone watches my videos.)

I was going to comment on the video like 'hey, wtf? that's my photo you've used' but instead inboxed them a message politely asking that they either credit my work in their disclaimer section which they have in their description box or just change their thumbnail photo. I don't think I'll be hearing back though..

Is it sad that I get this annoyed over a few people using my photos? Maybe, but I'm sure other bloggers out there would understand that you feel ripped off seeing other people pass off your photos as their own.

Now I have to go put shitty ugly watermarks over everything.

Don't steal peoples photos, it's a d*** move.

BEING A SCAREDY CAT, MINIONS AND MORE

The life of a sea otter is the life for me

So I'm waiting to upload a video for editing and thought I would use this time to fill out the Liebster award Linzi tagged me for. Linzi, you're Welsh? That is so cool!!!

What's your favourite thing about being a blogger?
I hate writing and I'm a terrible writer but I love writing about makeup. I feel lame talking about it to my friends because most of them don't care about it at all so it's nice to chat amongst the beauty community :)

If you only had one subject to blog about what would it be? (e.g. skincare, cosmetics, fashion, books, music)
Cosmetics for sure! They're the most interesting and can be soooo pretty with pretty colours and sparkles and scents and everything fun!

What's your favourite scary movie?
None ever. I have "jokingly" threatened to unfriend people or never speak to my boyfriend again if they forced me to watch a scary movie. I don't see the fun in that. It's 2 hours of shitting your pants followed by months of psychological torture. I do my own head in.

If you could only wear one lip product for the rest of your life what would it be?
Practically speaking, a nice tinted lip balm. If I didn't care about the maintenance, Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 10.

What is the book you love so much you can re-read it on a regular basis?
I'm sorry I don't like books :( I did read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory countless times when I was 8. The Saggy Baggy Elephant was another favourite of mine. Good moral to the story in that book and nice illustations :P

When you feel the need to indulge yourself what do you buy? (e.g perfume, chocolate, clothes, cosmetics)
MAAAAAAKEUUUP

Who is your favourite celebrity at the moment?
Steve Carell!!! Funniest man alive <3

What make up would you choose to wear on a hot date?
Never been on one and don't think I ever will haha. I'm a very casual person who dates very casual guys. Aside from the basic neutral smokey eye, if I really wanted to impress, I would wear red lipstick.

What's your favourite movie moment?
As in a scene from a movie? Hard to pick one but I'll say the scene in Despicable Me where the minions make Gru give them goodnight kisses. Cuteness overload!

What's your most embarrassing moment?
Too many, far too many...probably one of my violent nosebleeds. I was walking to the station one morning and it just came out like a tap. Got all down my sleeve and on my new bag, had to ask a rough looking Railcorp guy for tissues and lucky he had kept a little pack of Kleenex tissues in his backpack. A council worker then came up to me and said 'Did he hit you?'

I'm not sure if there were rules to this so I'm just going this very informal because I'd love to learn more about some of my favourite bloggers!

Also I would love to learn more about my readers so please comment your answers down below if you would like <3

I'm going to tag 5 bloggers with 5 questions so you can call it '5 Facts about me' or something way more creative :)

Questions:
  1. What do you do outside blogging? Work, study, chase pigeons?
  2. Do you have any special talents like singing or burping the alphabet?
  3. If you could be any animal, what would you be?
  4. If you could only eat 3 things for the rest of your life, what would they be?
  5. Do you feel like you don't have enough, have enough or have wayyyy too much makeup?

EOTD - PRINCESS JASMINE

How hot is Sydney today? I'm so happy summer is coming but it's getting uncomfortably hot in my room...

I really didn't know what to call this look. I guess it reminds me of Princess Jasmine from Aladdin but then that name reminds me of Jasmine for Sweetaholic Beauty haha. I just spontaneously decided I wanted to have teal and black eyes today and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I used the Chi Chi Oasis Palette to create this look :)

VOLUME FOR FLAT HAIR - PAUL MITCHELL EXTRA BODY

$

I have thick hair strands, just not a lot of it and my hair is generally flat on top :(

I've been testing out some products from the Paul Mitchell Extra Body range in hopes for fuller looking hair.

Extra Body Daily Shampoo: This shampoo smells so good and lathers up real nice. It makes my hair feel really clean and light without making it feel stripped or dried out. This helps my hair to keep any volume I add to it during styling. While my hair doesn't feel overly stripped, I still wouldn't suggest it for people with dry hair.

Extra Body Daily Boost Root Booster: I feel like this product worked at first but after about half an hour or so, the volume started to fade and my hair was back to normal.

Thicken Up Styling Liquid: This would be the most impressive product I've tried from the range. I just work a bit of this into damp hair and blowdry my hair upside down. My hair looks so voluminous and bouncy after using this. I can feel the product in my hair after but it's not crunchy like hairspray

I feel like the shampoo doesn't work to thicken up the appearance of your hair on it's own but when used in conjunction with the styling liquid, my hair is lifted with weightless volume and this can be set with hairspray for longer lasting results.

The styling liquid does leave a fair amount of build up though if you use it frequently so a good way to remove this is with the Shampoo Three Clarifying Shampoo. I would not use this everyday because it would be way too harsh on my hair but once a week or fortnight (depending on what I've put in my hair) is enough to give my hair a clean fresh start.

I've really been enjoying these products and the little routine I've found myself in is:
  1. Wash my hair with the Extra Body Daily Shampoo
  2. Condition with Palmolive Aqua Light conditioner. It's a nice light conditioner that doesn't weigh my hair down
  3. Add 2 pumps of the Thicken Up Styling Liquid to my hair, focusing on the top section of my hair
  4. Blow dry my hair upside down with a large ionic brush and set it with the cool shot
  5. Finish with my all time favourite hair product, Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum for sleek, soft, shiny hair that smells amazing.

RED LIPS FOR CHRISTMAS WITH LUSH!

Not sure what makeup to wear to that family dinner/piss up at a mates house or tea party with your stuffed animals? How about rocking a Santa inspired red lip courtesy of Lush? We all love Lush don't we <3

Lush has two AWESOME AMAZING SUPER FANTASTIC lip products as part of this years holiday collection that work hand in hand for the perfect Christmas red lip.

Santa's Lip Scrub (with hearts in it!) and Santa Baby Lip Tint.

Close up of a heart in the lip scrub

Santa's Lip Scrub a bright red, Cola flavoured lip scrub with cute little hearts in it. Doesn't get much better than that aye. The texture of Santa's is different to Bubblegum or Mint Julips which are essentially oil and sugar. Santa's feels more like a thick paste.

It is the perfect way to scrub away any of the dead or dry skin before putting on your lip colour. A smooth canvas is always the best surface to apply makeup onto!

Santa Baby Lip Tint is more than just a tint. This has full blown colour pay off, just like a lipstick! It's packed with nourishing butters and ingredients to condition your lips and leave them feeling soft. I love the soft matte finish of this lip tint which makes it look more sophisticated and longer wearing. Who would guess you're wearing a cute little Lush lip tint?

I actually fell asleep wearing this and woke up the next morning, still with a perfect red lip that hadn't faded or smudged.

These two work perfectly together to give you a flawess red lip and I think the pair make an amazing Christmas gift! Especially with those hearts, come on, who can resist that?

Peace out pineapples x

Goodies from the Lush Blogger Event last night :)
We all know LUSH's strong values towards sustainability and fair trade practices. This year, they're celebrating a cruelty free Christmas! One example is the replacement of plastic glitter with biodegradable glitters. Some of you may have noticed this in the Angel's Delight soap.

They've also started packaging some of their gift sets in 'knot wraps'. The fabric used to wrap up the products can be reused as scarf and if you like, the friendly staff can show you how you can turn your fabric into a book wrap, carry bag and other cute options.

Lush has an amazing Christmas range this year and lot of new exciting products we haven't seen before.

My top picks from the new range include:
  1. Snow Fairy Sparkle Massage Bar: An adorable cute pink fairy with a stunning pearly shimmery centre. Smells just like snow fairy and will leave you smelling of jellybabies.
  2. Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic: Very fitting as a gift, it's a sparkling gift box with white bow. This would make for such a fun bath, it turns the water a beautiful vibrant blue with gold floating stars that you can smoosh between your fingers.
  3. Penguin Bubble Bar: I'm so glad we have something Aussie! Inspired by the little blue fairy penguins on Philip Island, this is just too adorable to pass up.
  4. Bombardino Bath Ballistic: Bombardino is a cutie named after a drink from the Italian Alps. His little hat will make the water buttery smooth and he smells like butter cookies in my opinion. The scent is described to be lemon cheesecake which is also delicious!
  5. Rudolph Fresh Face Mask: This mask helps to calm redness in the skin, love the adorable little jelly nose in the centre.
  6. Candy Mountain Bubble Bar: A pink and white shimmery swirl of goodness, perfect for lovers of Lush's candy scented products like snow fairy, the godmother and angels delight.
  7. Ponche: Smells like a fruity citrus cocktail, Ponche is inspired by a Mexican drink containing orange juice and tequila. A great hangover cure I've heard ;)
  8. Santa's Lip Scrub: A cola flavoured lip scrub with adorable little hearts in it. The perfect way to prep your lips for Santa Baby
  9. Santa Baby Lip Tint: This is more than just a tint, this is pretty much a lipstick. A bright Santa red, very appropriate for those Christmas gatherings, it feels conditioning and comfortable on the lips and lasts ages!!
These are all products I would love to have myself or gift to someone else. Check out the LUSH Christmas page or go in-store to see the rest of the awesome range as well as their pre packaged gift sets.

I rarely go clubbing, maybe once or twice a year. I always think 'I don't like it but I haven't been in so long, I feel like going clubbing' and after 2 minutes of being in there, 'oh yeah, now I know why..'

I did have an alright time this time though :D it was EDM as opposed to 'club' music I can't stand - pitbull and crap like that.

Morning!

It's 8am and I cannot believe I am awake. My goal, no wait, let's call it my New Years Resolution, is to fix my sleeping pattern. I want to be able to wake up at 7am and be in bed by 10pm. I hate waking up late and not feeling like I have enough time to do things.

Anyway, this morning I wanted to share just a few makeup products I acquired for Christmas and very belated birthday (2 months belated) present.

Too Faced The Return of Sexy Palette come with mini Shadow Insurance
Browns, purples and smoky shades, my three favourite colour palettes <3
Also comes with a Perfect Eyes eyeliner
Got this Models Prefer nail kit which had two polishes. I love this light blue shade called Obsession
Comes with this rainbow glitter topcoat called Fireworks. I love big holographic pieces!

For the longest time, I wanted a pair of Nike Air Max Theas but I was waiting for the right colour to come out at work. After accepting that it probably wasn't gong to happen, I started looking online for a black and white pair. I found the perfect pair but they were either ridiculously expensive or sold out.

Anyway, as soon as Hype released this Black/White/Grey pair, I bought them in a heartbeat. And I'm glad I did because they sold out completely within 5 days. It's safe to say, I am head over heels crazy about them <3

Hello :)

There's some new fun makeup coming out in the next few weeks so here's a little heads up on what to keep your eyes peeled for (doesn't that sound so gruesome?)

20TH JANUARY:

1ST FEBRUARY:
I'm always excited when Maybelline brings out new products! I'm most excited for the Bold Matte Lipsticks and the Big Eyes eyeshadow palette in Luminous Purples.
Big Eyes Eyeshadows, Fit Me Stick Foundation, Colossal Smoky Mascara, MasterSmoky Eyeshadow Pencil (the ones we're getting are in mechanical pencil form)

I managed to get my paws on some of the new Maybelline stuff if you would like to check out my first impressions video where I try these out on myself. You can also see the MasterSmoky pencils that we will be getting :)

Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin Curves Mascara
