I think that video explains what this post is about better than I ever could.
Some of us get cramps, some of us get really bad cramps, some of us get excruciating cramps that make you contemplate why you're even alive (this would be me) and some of us don't get them at all (I kind of hate you).
Anyway so the other day, I had a 9am presentation to do. I had spent the two previous days completely bed ridden clutching onto my wheat bag and I thought by the third day, I would be fine, but as expected, they started to creep up, it was getting unbearable and it was coming to my turn to present.

It was an impulse buy (Around $5 for 2pk) but I am so thankful I thought to put one of these Libra Hotties Heat Patches in my bag "just in case". It was really simple to use. Just tear open the foil packet, remove the paper backing and stick it to your stomach.
I know this thing looks a bit grose, kind of looks like a pad but it's not dirty I swear! This paper pouch contains iron, vermiculite (is it the same stuff they use on ceilings?), activated carbon, salt and water. When exposed to air, the reaction generates heat that claims to last 5-8 hours.
This actually works! It warmed up in 5 minutes and mine stayed warm for 12 hours! I took it off after 8 hours but kept it just to see how long it would last. It's not just a mild warm either, it gets quite hot but no where near hot enough to burn you.
It's just as effective as any heat pack I've tried but it's portable, odourless and discreet. If you suffer from cramping, these are a real lifesaver!
What do you do to tackle cramps? Or do you just curl up in a ball like me?
